Our practice nurses are Nancy Hobbs and Fiona Horton. Their skills include immunisations, blood pressure measurements, dressings, dietary and weight advice, some contraceptive services, cervical smears and health screening. In addition to this they also hold our asthma and diabetic clinics.
The nursing team can be contacted at the surgery and there is no need for patients to be referred by a doctor. If you, a relative or friend, need the services of the nursing team at home, please contact the nurses through reception at the surgery during opening hours and arrangements can be made to visit. Services provided by the team are home treatments, health promotion, advice, elderly assessments, falls assessments and presentations, referrals to other medical professionals when needed.

The Health Visitor is a registered general nurse with specialist training in family health needs. The Health Visitor provides house visits for ante-natal and after the birth of the baby.
