If you seek medical care privately, and are advised by that specialist to have a blood test done, you will need to arrange this directly with the private specialist.  Should your specialist be a distance away, you can arrange to have the blood tests done privately at the Nuffield Hospital in Plymouth. These results would then need to be interpreted by the specialist who requested them, not your GP, as the specialist is medically responsible for the test. We are unable to undertake any blood tests in the Surgery on a private basis. We thank you for your understanding.
